Because the church is "God's household" and "the pillar and support of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15), God's word is central when we gather as His family (1 Timothy 4:13). Our practice of expository preaching and teaching means each passage from God's word is "exposed" or placed on public exhibition — its meaning is examined, explained and applied to our lives. We strive to make our verse-by-verse instruction accurate and thorough, as well as clear and meaningful for all ages. Our desire and goal is that our collective witness and individual lives will "make the teaching about God our Savior attractive" (Titus 2:10, NIV).
